I understand, I have issues with wax buildup.
twice a year or so one or other of my ears will block up and need to be sucked.
At the end of last year a bout of the flue got both my ears infected and while one was able to be sucked and such treated with drops I needed something to treat everything else and that drug gave me a headake for a month such that I had to take strong pain meds to even function at all.
So yeah gone are the days where I can just jump on a game like shades of doom.
I can play them and will continue to do so, however I am going for games I can use on my speakers more than my headphones because to be honest even when my ears are ok, wearing phones daily is not the best either.

Hi Shaun,

Agreed. One reason I play Jim's games a lot is because they aren't too
complex. While I have always been a fan of more advanced games I find
more and more that I don't have the time for Shades of Doom or Tank
Commander. As a result I frequently play Jim's games because they are
quick and easy. I also been having problems with my hearing, am in
fact slowly going deaf, so I'm not sure how well I'll be able to play
games like Shades of Doom, Tank Commander, Teraformers, etc in the
long term. Fortunately, Jim's games don't require excellent hearing
and are more what I need in this point in time.

Cheers!
