Definitely sounds like fun, and think we've considered a bit of sci-fi based RPG on/off at times, but have never gotten round to really trying it, but definitely sounds like fun - FWIW, while it's not accessible at all, my current e-mail signature is related to the original spaceQuest sort of adventure games, but anyway.

Stay well

Hi jacob.

I've done some informal one off sessions, but the most serious game I've had was my mutants game I mentioned where I played the same character for close to five years of real world time, I'm not generally a big fan of aupser heroes, but the gm decided to run it after he tried D&D, and I'll say the game got awsome in terms of coherence of world and different things involved, everything from a long period in arcadia doing fae politics between the winter and summer courts and cammelot, and a main campaign plot about an interdimentional super scientist who had a conspiracy of all the diffrerent versions of himself across the different dimentions trying to rule the multiverse.

it was pretty awsome, particularly the way the gm tied together magic, science and creation in a really unique way, my character for example was basically a shy, quite intelligent but at the same time slightly dim concert pianist who happened to pick up a battlesuit that literally fell out of the sky. It eventually transpired the battlesuit was ancient egyptian magical armor, and that he could run it because he actually had magic powers. The debates with the suit's ai were really quite fun and even lead to a very epic scene where my character refused to become a god, and then nearly destroyed all the similar battlesuits when battling the first of them ever created that had taken control of his father.

It all worked out well, but in a quite fun way with lots of hilarity and bad decisions, I even managed to turn one of the npc villains into a Tyranosaurus rex at one point :D.

Beware the grue!

Dark.
