Well the more labs you have and at higher levels the more rp you get. Currently am at 95k research points per hour. It can go much much further than that. you could say I'm plodding along in the game whereas others have taken much quicker routes. Then again that's the beauty of something that is open ended you can do what you want and however you want to do it.
