the only problem I found with the game was a lot of pausing and slowing 
down. apparently this is common when running dos aps with windows, but did 
make the game rather unplayable for me, which was a shame sinse it looked 
great.

Are you running it with dosbox or something similar zak? or just through 
windows?

In fact, any advice on playing this game would be appreciated.
