Hi Nicol, I have a feeling that you are too frequently changing gears. A vehicle will not work that way. You must use the gears correctly. You can not be in like sixth gear while doing 10 MPH. You start out in neutral. That is where you can just play with revving up your engine. Then when you press the up arrow key you are in first gear. Use first gear up to about 75 MPH, Second gear up to 125, third gear to 175, fourth gear to 225, fifth gear to 275 and sixth for top speed. You can actually take those a bit higher until you hear the different sounding engine sound which indicates that you are near top RPM. If you slow down and you can not then accelerate it means that you are going too slow for that gear. Use the down arrow key to down shift. You will be able to tell when you have down shifted to a good gear when the engine races when you down shift to that gear.
I hope that helps. BFN Jim WHeRe is ThaT DArN ShIfT keY?
