Gosh thomas, it's quite sad to see people bash such a kind person as yourself. even through all you're going through, you're still trying to do your best on the game by using your 3d engine etc. if I were in your shoes I don't think I'd be so patient. I'd just slap something together and say ok here's your montezuma's return, take it or leave it.
