Hi Nicol,
Both of the sounds in question can freely be obtained off of the 
internet. Neither Liam or Draconis has an exclusive copyright on them 
since neither company are the original creators of the sounds. They are 
just free sound effects obtained from the web.
As it happens Liam isn't the only one who has used sounds from Monkey 
Business. As part of my deal with James North in taking over Alchemy 
Game Studios I recieved a cd with James North's entire sound effects 
library.
when I initially created Montezuma's Revenge  I used quite a lot of 
sounds from Monkey Business. the stone doors, lava pits, ledge sounds, 
etc come strait out of Monkey Business. Over time I replaced several 
sounds I found on the internet that were better, but the updated 
side-scroller I am working on still does use some of those sounds.
