i must admit, probably out of all Jim's games, monopoly is the one I'd most
like to see multiple computer opponents in, exactly for that reason.
Game of life is quite playable on your own, sinse reading the square text
and seeing what fortunes or misfortunes happen in the game is quite fun in
itself, but monopoly against one opponent just doesn't seem to work imho.
This is really sad, given all the great work jim's put into the creation of
board files and the customization of the game.
If this is not possible, I have had a thought.
Perhaps if Jim created an option in the game that let you in put one
player's turn manually, instead of having random dice rolls, it'd be
possible to play over skype or via forum post, by each player just saying
how many squares they moved, and what property etc they wish to buy?
This would let people have games against others who weren't physically
present, via mailing list, forums or skype, and thus would be a more
interesting option for those people who don't often have others physically
around to play monopoly with.
I know that internet multiplayer code has it's own complications, but maybe
for games like monopoly, battleships ---- or the game of life which is turn
based, this could be a handy work around.
Beware the Grue!
Dark.

Subject: [Audyssey] Neospeech Kate?
Hi all,
I want to use Neospeech Kate for my SAPPI 5 games voice, does she work
well? My other problem is that, for some weird reason, I can't find her
anywhere at all! I thought I could get it from nextup.com, but for some
reason, she's not there anymore! Does anyone else know from where else I
can get her?
Thanks
Ari
