Thanks, as I said it seems to be working fine now, it was just that my
typing speed was a bit too fast for dos.
When i tried it on my old xp desktop (the one that crashed in July), it kept
utterly freezing everything, which was a pest.
I'll see how it runs on my very new but stil xp desktop when i get back to
my flat.

To buy things, you put money on the ground. I have no idea why but yeah,
that's how you have to do it. As for playing the game in windows, I had no
issues doing so. I'm even running vista. It wouldn't run worth crap in xp
for some reason, would start and then close almost instantly, but now that
I upgraded to vista and am an actual legal and non-modified build it works
fine.

Get an old system with dos.
failing that.
set up a linux box with dosemu wine and other things.
I really should have one of these but the slower a 10 I have has a busted
dvd rom drive.
