Subject: [Audyssey] air hockey again

I play for fun but I never do well. Since air is already coming up and supporting the puck, I don't see why a whistle couldn't be built right into the puck--a small hole on one side of the puck for the air to blow through, and on the other side a dip and slit type deal like on the mouthpiece of a recorder. It would still be a bit hard to localize the sound, but I think it would be doable. In the mean time, try my air hockey game at Kara's web site. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ari" <aridamoula...@gmail.com>

Subject: [Audyssey] Air Hockey

Hi all,
I have two questions, the first one is OT, so please answer that directly
to me. Because I have recently become interested in ice hockey:
1. Sorry, but I don't know how American radio works, and the amount and
names of your stations are quite confusing. If they are allowed to do
this, I would love to listen to an NHL game, so can someone please tell me
if these are broadcast over the internet, and, because you guys have so
many stations, which station could I hear one on if possible.
2. Now to the games question. My dad and I were trying to see if I could
play air hockey, but it wasn't that successful because, as you guys know,
the disk blows and bounces all over. My question is, as a totally blind
person, do any of you guys play it successfully, what strategy do you use.
Do you think, if none of you have an answer, it would somehow help to
create a disk that could make some kind of buzz or beep while it's flying, would that be a good way to play near evenly, or equally against a sighted
person?
Thanks
Ari
