Hi, Exactly what Phil said. When you reach the top of the staircase, the enemy is right there like right next to you. You lose quite a bit of health no matter what, and there's no way to shoot it unless you turn around, walk a few steps, and then turn back around and fire at it. All the while it's attacking you.
