Hi Tony,
Keep in mind here that a racing wheel is basically nothing more than a joystick with a wheel on it instead of a stick on it. As a result your racing wheel comes with various programmable buttons that can be programmed to carry out any number of functions. In an accessible racing game like Rail Racer or Raceway those buttons can be used to speak information such as your fuel status, speed, rpms, current gear, etc. What those buttons actually do depends on the game and if you have remapped the buttons using the profiler that comes with your racing wheel.
Smile.

Thanks Thomas and Michael, can either one of you guys tell me what the
buttons do on each side of the wheel and also there seems to be flipper like
buttons beneath the wheel as well. If your just racing why would you need
these buttons? Thanks for your help.

Tony
