Hi, I would also like to add if you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 don't install the Sapi 5.1 runtime or SDK as that will make the problem worse. Vista and above use Sapi 5.3, and installing an older version of Sapi isn't exactly the smartest thing a person can do. I tried it once, trying to get the older speech voices, and blew Sapi 5.3 up completely. It required a rather lengthy and painful process to get 5.3 back up and working again.
