Hmm. Interesting. I would like to see credit card terminals using this
technology rather than what they currently use, which is pressure sensative
screens. Same with kitchen appliances. I would still prefer actual
individual raised buttons that must be pressed, though. I would be willing
to give it a go, though.

What David didn't describe is as you move your finger around a touch
screen, it announces what you are touching.
Then to activate a link, you raise your finger and tap it once or twice.
When typing you move your finger around the virtual keyboard and when you
get to the letter you want you raise your finger.
So the typing a letter doesn't come when touching a letter on the screen,
but by releasing it.
I think it reads the whole line if you run your finger down the left edge
of the screen.
