Chris, the reason you probably don't notice people eating at the tavern much anymore is because a handful of versions ago I drastically shortened the amount of time it takes for people to eat while At the tavern. Because they aren't actually in there long, it is less likely you will be checking on the exact tick, or ticks, that someone is in there.
