I think, but am not quite sure, that it is the same as the original game, which was called something like "adventures in c" or something like that, only expanded.

Hi ron.

is this huge game the game also known as the colossal cave adventure? ie, the game where you went into a cave attempting to find various treasures and controlled things through an interactive fiction style parza by typing commands like get lamp, fight trol etc.

If so, there's actually already a windows port, ----- or at least a port in the tads if language that can be played easily in windows, that's indeed where I first played it myself.

Beware the grue!

Hello to my fellow gamers.
The one game that my brother and I both enjoyed playing in the days of dos games was the adventure game huge cave.
Now this would be cool if we could
1. get it to work in windows.
2. bring it up to code for win 7 users and add sound effects.
Like what you'd find in the caves.
Water dripping and everything else you'd find in a cave.
also, another game comes to mind.
Would love to see a windows blind friendly with sound effect The Oregon Trails game as well.
now I know there's some coders on this list.
So how about it?
Many Many Thanks.
