You know this may not exactly be what you are interested in, however you don't represent the entire list. Myself I attend these events a few times each week. It's game related and thus falls within list guidelines. It is understandable that it won't be for everyone due to type of game/time zone or whatever but I'll say it is alot of fun! Had a blast there last Sunday!

And lastly, looking at the times, 8PM eastern probably is fine for everyone in the states, but for me, being in GMT+1 (an hour ahead from the UK) I'd have to basically wake up in the middle of the night and play until early morning.
