Hi Tom.
it always just seemed silly to me having a folder called " "my Documents"
with a bunch of other folders that have dam all to do with documents. plus
again, i like to distinguish things like text games and audio books by
having them in their own folders.
While I see the logic in having folders for each user, when your the only
user on a system it doesn't make sense, ---- besides as I've said before %90
of the problems I've ever! had in windows have been to do with user accounts
going wrong at startup, getting corrupted or otherwise causing trouble.
Frankly that's why I like sticking stuff where I want to put it, meaning I
exactly know where it is, what folders I've created etc.
Again, this is another reason why I like xp, it gives me! the max amount of
choice on organizing my system, it's ui display and everything else, but
choice seems not to be microsoft's current thinking anymore, nor indeed
apples with what I've heard of the Iphone's proprietory file system.
as for security, well that's what I pay Avg for.
Beware the grue!
Dark.
