New issue 689 by [email protected]: Fails to rename instance directory
http://code.google.com/p/ganeti/issues/detail?id=689
Im running a rather old version of ganeti2 (2.1.6-1+squeeze1), i tried to
use the rename option of gnt-instance, the problem that occured was that it
for some reason changed the path to the disk.
So i had to manually change the path in the config and force-reload. Im
guessing this isn't the way it should work.
Here are the output from running the command:
# gnt-instance rename test1.example.com test.example.com
Failure: command execution error:
Could not rename on node machine1
directory '/storage/ganeti/test1.example.com'
to '/storage/ganeti/test.example.com/disk' (but the instance has been
renamed in Ganeti): Cannot rename '/storage/ganeti/test1.example.com'
to '/storage/ganeti/test.example.com/disk': [Errno 2] No such file or
directory
