Sorry, I replied with an email which apparently did not arrive.
I will post the contents of the email here.
I have tried this in a newer version of Ganeti and it seems to work.
We no longer support Ganeti 2.1 so please consider upgrading to a newer
version. If you decide to try a newer Ganeti version and run into the same
problems, please let us know.
