The --syslog option has to be added to the invocation
of ganeti-luxid (and the other daemons that you want
to log there). These daemons are usually started by
Ganeti's daemon utils which honor system-wide defaults;
on Debian systems, the respective defaults file is
located at /etc/default/ganeti.
