I cannot reproduce this issue. Testing the installation of current
stable-2.17 leads to correct results. Can you please provide further
information?
- Is that mentioned entry in the watcher log from a time before or
after gnt-cluster init?
- Is ganeti-maintd actually running?
- What does the installed structure on your file system look like?
In particular
- where does /usr/bin/ganeti-maintd point to
- where do the symlinks under /etc/ganeti point to
- is the actual executable present and where is it located?
