A while ago I remember talk of converting ganglia's config file into an xml format since ganglia already has a built-in xml parser. Is this still the plan or was it changed? Ganglia already has the ability to convert the version 2 format to the version 3 format, and can even write out its default config in a format that it can also read. Maybe ganglia could have an option to use either xml or the current format. I can understand that people might not want to hand edit xml configs, but they are quite useful for scripts or programs to output, and we have something like this to create the config files for ganglia here.
