A while ago I remember talk of converting ganglia's config file into an
xml format since ganglia already has a built-in xml parser.  Is this
still the plan or was it changed?  Ganglia already has the ability to
convert the version 2 format to the version 3 format, and can even write
out its default config in a format that it can also read.  Maybe ganglia
could have an option to use either xml or the current format.  I can
understand that people might not want to hand edit xml configs, but they
are quite useful for scripts or programs to output, and we have
something like this to create the config files for ganglia here.
