I guess that's possible, but I don't think we can really anticipate
all the scenarios that a user can shoot themselves in the foot.  In
the same line of argument you could say a user installed php but
decided to rename the php binary :-)

I'm going to just commit the fix to the spec file and leave it at
that.  If this causes problems down the road we'll re-visit...  unless
of course you plan to re-write the code without using the ctype_*
functions.
