There were couple other things I needed to change in the SPEC file and the archive to make it work on SuSE. 1. All /etc/rc.d/init.d/ references needed to be changed to /etc/init.d/ in the SPEC file 2. $BUILD/gmond/gmond.init.SuSE and $BUILD/gmetad/gmetad.init.SuSE need to have the /etc/rc.config line commented out otherwise the init script fails. I would be willing to submit SuSe 10.0 and 10.1 gmond and gmetad RPMS if there is interest :-). Vladimir
