I will check with the jobmon list,

jobmonarch runs on the head nodes.

Regarding ganglia, is there a way to tell it to ignore a node ?

I tried to use:

BATCH_HOST_TRANSLATE : ... , /localhost.localdomain//

to no avail, I'm guessing that it is seen as invalid syntax and ignored.

Thanks

my setup is as follow, 2 PBS head nodes running torque, moab ,
ganglia and a group of compute nodes running pbs_mom. Ganglia's gmond is
running on the headnodes in mute mode.

I'm trying to get rid of the "localhost.localdomain" node that now shows
up in ganglia because job monarch reports as localhost.localdomain.

Which host runs jobmonarch in your above setup?

Because I plug Moab into ganglia for real memory stats and other things,
Moab also thinks that I have a node called localhost.localdomain. Which
only results in warnings all over the place.

As anyone ran into that problem yet ?

I wonder if this question is better asked at the jobmonarch
mailing-list -- do they have one?

Cheers,

Bernard
