I tried running gmond in debug mode. I guess the basic problem is that
bytes_in and bytes_out are always zero on some nodes.

metric 'bytes_in' being collected now

metric 'bytes_in' has value_threshold 16.000000
metric 'pkts_in' being collected now
However I have no idea why this might be. Any ideas?
