One of the things that seems to help other languages is a central
point of communication. Beyond simply the website they usually have a
mailing list or seven that handle the bulk of conversation between
users of that language. Although making a lisp homepage would probably
be difficult (read impossible) I think centralizing communications
would not be too hard.

I would like to suggest that whenever we finish something important it
gets posted on comp.lang.lisp. People can get to it from
groups.google.com if they do not have usenet access. If that idea
seems to work for people maybe we should come up with a specific
subject label for these kinds of announcements and encourage the rest
of the lisp community to participate.

Regardless of the method, having a central place where anyone in the
lisp world can let people know about their new project will help the
community.
