www.lispniks.com. This is my domain so we can do whatever we want with it. > common-lisp.net perhaps? > to cite their front page: 'This site is one among many gateways to > Common Lisp. But I don't want to be tied too closely to the ALU decision making process because it's not exactly lithe. I suppose if we make a real success of CL Gardeners on the lispniks.com domain then someday we might be able to suggest to the ALU that we take over lisp.org and let alu.org be the ALU domain. But I don't see any real problem with moving ahead now on lispniks.com; it'll matter far more what actually do than what domain it's on. > Of course there are people, ideas and a bit of history involved in > these projects. I think we want to maintain our independence both for our own sake and also for the sake's of the existing projects--let them keep doing what they do well and let us try to get our own thing going and *then* see where there are opportunities for convergence and collaboration. -Peter -- Peter Seibel * [EMAIL PROTECTED] Gigamonkeys Consulting * http://www.gigamonkeys.com/ Practical Common Lisp * http://www.gigamonkeys.com/book/ _______________________________________________ Gardeners mailing list [email protected] http://www.lispniks.com/mailman/listinfo/gardeners
