Hey guys, A little while ago I volunteered to do some work on the CL Gardeners project. Specifically, I volunteered to work on the Lisp GUI toolkits pages. When I did this, I stated that I would start out by writing something on the Ltk GUI Toolkit from Peter Herth. Well, for the past month since I volunteered, I've been on vacation for most of it and for the rest of it, I've been playing around with Ltk whenever time allowed. (By the way, nice work Peter (Herth) on creating the Ltk library, I've been looking through the code for it and its very easy to understand and its teaching me quite a bit, not too mention the library works perfectly).
Anyway, I haven't actually posted anything to the CL Gardeners projects page just yet, basically because I wanted to clarify what we are looking for here. In the GUI toolkits pages do we want to have reviews, tutorials, both? Or, are there other ideas for what we are looking for. I posted a new entry to my O'Reilly weblog on the subject of Ltk (http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/wlg/8953) and I also did a bit of advertising for the Gardeners project in it as well. If anyone has the chance, please take a look at blog post and let me know if this is about what we want in the CL Gardeners projects pages. I.e., should I follow the same tone, length, etc. or do we want more of a concentration on tutorials, overviews, reviews of the library, what? Thanks alot for any help you all can offer, I appreciate it, and I look forward to hearing from you all very soon. Oh, and by the way, I hope you enjoy the post :) -- Christopher Roach [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Gardeners mailing list [email protected] http://www.lispniks.com/mailman/listinfo/gardeners
