ask the ALU for setting up and directing faq.lisp.org to your host. If

I agree strongly.
I have been talking to the ALU board. We agree that they're going to change
the home page of the site radically, to be aimed at promoting Lisp, and only
secondarily to discuss the ALU itself. See, for example, python.org. Since
they own lisp.org, it's an opportunity for lisp.org to explain why one
should
be interested in Lisp and finding out more.
So a Lisp FAQ is an excellent document to have as part of that whole
concept.
