Yes, but Michael's PhD has a mix of Old and New graphics. Old only
handles ps and eps. pdftex does not handle .eps
Michael, are you sure you used pdflatex to export to PDF. Sure does not
seem possible. I have a large document with the same mix. It does not
crash, but gives error boxes informing me that .eps is not supported by
latex.
