Hi Gasification Colleagues, After posting what seems a never ending series of photos of the gasifier development programme at CalForests in California on the Fluidyne Archive, I can finally show you a video of the Laimet chipper in action. The loader is feeding mainly 40ft tops into the Laimet and even a 10" log will vanish at the same speed as these smaller ones. http://youtu.be/9DRnfXQas9M This video was supplied only a couple of days ago, but not taken by myself, so will make a request of them for next time, to get in a little closer to the action.
If you look closely down in the left hand corner, you can see the grey squarish insulated casing of the hot water boiler, which is now operating to heat the greenhouse you can see in the rear of the gasifier installation. It has yet to have the flu stack added. I was sent all the photos of the boiler operating and will write up the storey for posting next week.
