We've always had fun at Baton Rouge.

(Andreu) I guess if I had to pick a favorite rival it would be LSU. I remember waiting outside a restaurant in Gainesville 2 years ago. We were suddenly surrounded by a bunch of LSU fans. I felt a little uneasy, then one of them said something like "We're gonna kill you". I said something like, "I just hope we don't humiliate you too much tomorrow". They all laughed and we were like family after that. They were offering to buy us drinks, I learned way more than I ever wanted to know about each one's family, and the whole evening was just a lot of fun. I'm sure LSU has their idiots, just like we do, but they're harder to find for me. Oliver Barry, CRS, GRI Real Estate Broker Halo Realty, LLC 700 E. Mutual respect Would UF fans pull for Georgia or Tennessee or FSU in a national title game? Probably not. But they seemed to be pulling hard for the Tigers in their big win over Ohio State last January, just like the LSU fans adopted UF for its win over the Buckeyes the previous year. It's all about SEC pride, I'd say. 3. Where's the hate? The fans from both schools get along OK for the most part. There have been no obvious problems in the stands or around the stadium. They probably don't care for each other on game day (or the week leading up to the game), but the dislike seems to quickly fade after the final whistle. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
