Although I've been to a lot of SECCG's, the only one I've been to where we
played Bama was in 1994. It was an absolutely fantastic time, but one thing I
DO remember is being outnumbered by the Bama fans. It was easily a 3:1 ratio or
maybe even worse.
My opinion is that the Bama fans snatched up the bulk of the SEC's tickets
(not the tickets that go to the schools) in '92 & '93 when the game was in
Birmingham and has renewed their order each year, thus holding onto the ticket.
I used to be one of those, but I missed renewing my order one year (I had moved
and my form was lost in the mail) and have been trying to get back in the
rotation ever since.
