I don't know about you, but I'm surrounded by Alabama fans who have been
ragging me all week about how they are going to beat us.

I've also listened to many sportswriters who have been predicting a Tide
win all week.

I'm beginning to feel like the underdog in this fight, and I'm sick of
hearing about how their fat nose guard is going to disrupt our offensive
line although he only has nine tackles over the whole season. We've
been hearing especially the last 3 games how the particular defense of
the week only allowed 24 points per game. It was uncanny that each
defense only allowed 24 points. Yet, we kicked them all over the place.
I'm sick of hearing about how Alabama's offensive line is going to play
ball control and keep our offense off the field the whole game. Yet,
every offense we've faced has been stymied at every turn.

That's crap. We are no slouch here and we are going to kick their
redneck Alabama butts!!!

No, I'm not over confident. But, I am confident that we will prevail.
I hope Charlie Crist gets a bellyache on those Dreamland ribs, because
he's going to get them!!

OK, hold the phone. You guys are sounding like Ohio State the few days
before the National Championship Game. I told this Ohio State fan (that
was in front of me at the rental car office) to go easy on us and he
said that it should be a good tail-whipping by at least 20 points. AND
THEN HE SAID, I remember coming in for the Miami game and their fans
were bragging about beating us by 50 points or so and ended up beating
them. I just laughed and then after the game, I laughed again. I hope
you guys are right.

Fran

Something no one has mentioned is UF's ability to make their opponent
make mistakes. That's how we score 20 points in 2 minutes.
That's what we are going to do to Alabama!

I'm praying we can jump on them early and force them out of their ball
control offense. I think we need to try the wide stance and run to the
outside to wear down the line and linebackers. That should soften them
up.
