there are several stages of defense we have seen
2 years ago: you are begging for them to "just please" make enough stops to get off the field
Past year: get a turnover - try to make something good happen
Next year: total intimidation, annihilation - make the offense scared to run a play because something bad might happen to them. Numerous turnovers, hits like Wright had in the Oklahoma game, etc. Complete domination.
It should be exciting to see both the offense and defense play next year.
Its been a couple of years since I was excited to see the defense take the field.
The cool thing is that we are stacked and loaded at most of the defensive positions now. Just the talent at linebacker is scarey. If we can keep some defensive tackles away from injuries - then we should be able to dominate most teams.
