The unique thing, to me, about Tebow is his remarkably low error percentage. His TD passes to INT ratio is off the charts good. He almost never fumbles. Turnovers kill drives and lose games. For all the stats that other passers or runners may have, they need to be tempered by the number of times that they turned the ball over. What is the average difference in field position? 45 yards - if the turnover was on 3rd down and a 1st down was not earned. If it was on 1st or 2nd, the loss is greater due to the lost offensive opportunity. -50 yards? -60 yards? If that negative yardage is factored into the stats, I'd bet that more than a few players with arguable similar stats would fall to earth in a hurry. -Zeb --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
