Yes, picking against the Gators is what prevented me from also being tied for 
first place.  I certainly have my strategy set for this fall's pick 'em now.

        I have to admit that after the rotten regular season I had playing Pick 
'Em (results rotten - I enjoyed playing) I knew I had to do something 
different. Some of my fellow "winners" may have employed the same strategy that 
I did for the bowl games:

        I saw that if you had gone strictly with the underdogs all year long 
you would have finished in first place, so I picked all underdogs - except for 
the Gators - since this is for fun I never, ever pick against the Gators! 
        Voila!

finally scraped the ice off the ol’ computer and did it.  We had a 4-way tie
