I think USC is still a premium job, on a par with Florida or Texas. It has all
of the same recruiting, fan and weather advantages, and plays in a weaker
conference. NCAA sanctions will pass (they didn't keep Alabama down for long)
and that even gives a new coach a bit of breathing room to get their program
established. USC could have done way better than Lame.

Not as good as Florida, but probably one of the top 10 or 20 coaching jobs in
the country.
A far as coaching jobs - I would think that Florida and Texas would have to be
#1. Great facilities, great fan bases, warm weather, and more high school
talent in your back yard than you know what to do with.
USC is not good because I think the NCAA is going to nail them.
Some of the big schools up north are good - Ohio State, Michigan - but it is so
cold in the winter - how do those people stand it? And the talent is not a
plentiful.
