No concerns about Brantley - but the QB we signed last year (Reed) could not pick up the offense and moved to TE.  The two new QBs are not highly rated - but this was a weak year for QBs.  Scot Loeffler picked these guys - so let's see if Loeffler is as good as Spurrier at developing QBs.

 

TE - we now have the old QB (Reed),  the TE we signed last year who had a knee injury (Parks) plus we signed Christian and McFarland.  Christian is the third rated TE in the country by Scout and is enrolled for spring practice. 

 

OL - we have a lot of good players - but with all the injuries that usually happen - they like to have a lot of backups.  With all the defenisve line men we signed - I wonder if Leon Orr will move to OL?

 

Maybe we'll pick up that other OL man later in the day.

 

RB - we signd one great one, Mack Brown.  I am biased to liking the big backs, and Moody is not bringing it.  Mack Brown should be the big back that can bring it every down.  Don't rule out the guy we signed last year Mike Gillislee, who is very good also. 

 

WR - we are stocked, added four more good WRs and Andre Debose (the next Percy Harvin) sat out last year. 

 

Defensive end and DT - incredible who we got.  So good that Leon Orr, a DT, has expressed interest in playing OL, and we might move him over

 

Powell - #1 DE in the country

Floyd - #1 DT in the country

Easly - #2 DT in the country

Trail - #7 DE in the country

Orr - #11 DT in the country, but may move to OL

 

DBs - we signed five DBs plus three athletes that may play DB.  All of these guys are good. 

 

LBs we have plenty, got three more.  But a lot of the DBs are so big and athletic some of them will be able to play LB.
