By the way, I remember when the SEC season had only six conference games. A ten team conference and only six conference games. It wasn't that long ago.
If the schedule fell the right way, it wasn't so difficult to win the championship. Unfortunately, we never managed it (except in '84 and '85, when the lousy hypocrites wouldn't recognize our titles). I think they went to seven conference games in 1990, then eight with the expansion in '92. This is why we had to drop scUM from the schedule. Go Gators!!!! Ken B.
