I've been a Gator long enough to remember the UF-Miami annual rivalry game
before FSU became a part of our schedule. I'd trade a weekend in Tally for a
weekend in Miami in a heartbeat.

Well, if scUM really wanted to play us every year, they would have joined the
SEC in '92. They were invited and they declined.
I have no desire to play them at all, let alone every year.

Your memory is correct, sir.
The question I have a problem with is why we didn't add UM back when
the NCAA made the 12th game permanent? We had played UM off and on
whenever the goofy prior rule allowed a 12th game.
