That's exactly right! Cam could have worked his way back on the team. He was off just like Chris Rainey was off. Which leads us to the conclusion... Never throw a Heisman out the window! :-)

That didn't sound right to me, primarily because it isn't true. Cam was arrested 11/21/08 for throwing the Heisman out the window, he announced on 1/05/09 that he was transferring to Blinn CC, Tebow announced he was coming back at the NC celebration on 1/12/09. So a full week before Tebow announces, somehow Cam already knew... At the time remember, Cam was suspended from the team and Tebow was in Miami for bowl prep. Cam transferred for the simple reason that he had been suspended from the team for comitting a criminal act, he had the opportunity to rejoin the team but took the option to transfer so he could playing time, not because Meyer kicked him off the team. He had the same opportunity to rejoin the team as Chris Rainey, bu we keep hearing about the double standard of Meyer. I wish Cam all the best in the world, but the adoration that is being piled on him while casually dismissing the 'incident' is just wrong. UF still gets raked over the coals for having 30 arrests - guess what Cam was one of those, so why doesn't his arrest transfer with him??? Also, Cam is the QB he is today because he transferred. The year as a starter in CC was what he needed, he wouldn't have gotten the reps as the backup or 3rd string that he got as the starter at Blinn. That is what made him the better QB today.
