The conference policy went into place in 2004 and start with a $5,000 fine for the first offense. The second is a maximum of $25,000 and the third is up to $50,000. If a school is penalized and goes three years without another infraction, the next violation is considered a second offense. This is the fourth such penalty for Kentucky in football. The school had one in 2006 and two in 2007. To the best of my knowledge this has not happened in Florida over the past two decades.
