Sorry to see this.
Shariff had a monster game in the second half. Easley would have seen
plenty of PT this game.

Gators leave DE Dominique Easley home during Vanderbilt trip

Florida coach Urban Meyer’s frustration with freshman DE Dominique
Easley led to Easley staying home during team’s trip to Vanderbilt
this weekend.
Easley was not on the travel roster and is not listed on the depth
chart.
“Dominique is not on the travel team,” Meyer said after beating
Vanderbilt 55-14. “Not part of the team right now.”
Asked if Easley was left home for disciplinary reasons, Meyer said,
“Yeah, a lot of reasons.”
To be clear “not part of the team” does not mean the same thing for
Easley as it did for Chris Rainey. It is not necessarily a long-
term suspension.
Meyer has had trouble with Easley, a true freshman from Staten
Island, N.Y., since training camp. Easley and Ronald Powell skipped
part of a practice in early August because they were upset with
teammates and coaches, though Meyer said they resolved that situation.
Easley did not play against LSU and Mississippi State, and got
limited playing time against Georgia last week. His displeasure
over being a back-up has led him to talk openly about transferring,
said a source who has heard him mention it.
Florida already has lost three of the 27 players it signed this
year. WR Adrian Coxson and DB Jordan Haden opted to transfer in
August, and Meyer kicked FS Jonathan Dowling off the team last week
due to academic and attitude problems.
