Are you refering to the HP Openview Network Node Manager?  What version
are you running?  You may wish to do some searching regarding your
version HP Openview and NAT.

This article, dated 4/31/01, suggests a few workarounds.

This README from HP mentions that NATed traps are supported with version
NNM 6.2, but (at first glance) doesnt seem to mention discovery through
NAT.

"Firewall Support of Traps Received Through a NAT Device.  See -u option in
