Are you refering to the HP Openview Network Node Manager? What version are you running? You may wish to do some searching regarding your version HP Openview and NAT. This article, dated 4/31/01, suggests a few workarounds. http://www.nwfusion.com/columnists/2001/0430blass.html This README from HP mentions that NATed traps are supported with version NNM 6.2, but (at first glance) doesnt seem to mention discovery through NAT. "Firewall Support of Traps Received Through a NAT Device. See -u option in ov_event(5) reference page for details." http://ovweb.external.hp.com/nnm/NNM6.2/images/nnm/ReadmeNew_NNMGR.html Good luck..let the list know what you find. ...david --- David Raistrick Systems Administrator - Global Technology Associates, Inc [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe to the digest version first unsubscribe, then e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive of the last 1000 messages: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]
