The GBFlash is nearly as expensive because there's no upgrade discount on
that.

We've bitten the bullet and are upgrading.

I won't be using the gb-100 as a paperweight because we have to send it
back!

I thought GTA had some kind of migration offer? If you can get a GBflash,
a nice new whitebox PC is probably around $200. Not a slick rackmount
admittedly, but functionally the same.
