Further to previous email, let me give you some more info on the problem. The problem currently we are facing is with the Mobile VPN client users. On the Firewall we are using Default Mobile VPN Object and the security policy is been setup as per instruction for Default Mobile VPN Object. As mentioned earlier we only have Basic DNS configured on the Firewall. i.e. (Enable external name server = ISP, enable internal name server =win2k machine, enable DNS proxy = Protected Network). On the Internal Network (Protected) we have Windows 2000 domain with DNS/WINS enabled on Windows 2000 Server. Resolving external name we use DNS service provided by ISP. There are no issues with the internal users. Only issue we are having is with the mobile VPN users not able to use computer name when they are accessing internal network from outside using Gnat VPN Client. It works fine using IP address.
