Folks: Well it seems that anytime I write a message here it is to expose my own ignorance.. :(
Well here is the picture. My son was playing a game which uses a server with the address 159.153.233.71 (central-ae6-owo.com). He told me he was having trouble re-logging onto the game even though he had just been playing. I tried rebooting the pc etc, and just thought I 'd try to run a tracert on the server. What stunned me is the FIRST ENTRY which should have been the card on my PRIVATE nic which I have for many years used as 90.0.0.89 This is the first step listed on the tracert 1 <10 ms <10 ms <10 ms AMontpellier-257-1-113-89.w90-0.abo.wanadoo.fr [90.0.0.89] Does anyone have any clue as to what in the world this is? What should I do about it? Is it an element about which I should be concerned? (I think it is) Thanks to all of you for any insight you may have on this.
